About this policy
This Privacy Policy applies to tennesseecountryboysmoving.com, the website of Tennessee Country Boys Moving (“we,” “us” or “our”), a moving company based in Goodlettsville, Tennessee. It explains what information we receive through this website and what happens to it.
It doesn’t cover other businesses’ websites or practices, including those of our referral partners. The website has no accounts or logins, and you can browse it without telling us who you are.
Information you give us
We receive personal information when you choose to share it with us – for example, when you call us, email us, or send a quote request through the form on our Contact page. Depending on what you tell us, that can include:
- your name;
- your phone number and email address;
- the details of your move, such as addresses, dates and what’s being moved;
- anything else you decide to include in your message.
The quote form asks for your name, phone number, email address and a message, and lets you add your preferred contact method and details of your move. It’s sent by email to Tennessee Country Boys Moving so we can get back to you, and a confirmation summarizing the move details you provided is emailed to the address you enter.
We don’t take payments through this website, and we don’t ask for payment-card details, Social Security numbers or financial account information through it. Please don’t send that kind of information to us through the website or by email.
Referral-partner contact forms
Our Partners page introduces independent businesses we’re glad to recommend. Each has its own page on this website:
- Val’s Cleaning Solutions (cleaning)
- Price Building Services (home repairs and painting)
- Todd Draper (real estate)
- Brianna Harris (home financing, Broadway Mortgage Group)
These businesses are not part of Tennessee Country Boys Moving. They provide their own services and answer for their own work.
When a partner page offers an online message form, it asks for your first and last name, email address, phone number and message. That form is for contacting the partner:
- Your message goes to the partner named on that page, so they can reply to you directly. It isn’t sent to Tennessee Country Boys Moving.
- The page decides who receives it. Each form can only deliver to the partner on its own page; nothing you type can send your message anywhere else.
- After that, the partner’s own practices apply. Once a partner has received your message, how they use, keep and share it is up to them, not this policy. We don’t control a partner’s email, systems or records.
Every partner page also lists the partner’s phone number if you’d rather call. On the home-financing page, please don’t include Social Security numbers, account details or other sensitive financial information in your message.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, this site’s hosting and delivery services automatically receive some technical information whenever your browser requests a page. This typically includes your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page or file requested, your browser and device type, and the page that linked you here. Our web server may also record error and security details when something goes wrong.
The website is delivered through Cloudflare, a network and security service, which processes connection information such as IP addresses in order to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.
Our online forms (the quote form and the referral-partner forms) are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, a security check that helps tell real visitors from automated spam. When a page with a form loads, Turnstile runs in your browser and Cloudflare processes the information it needs for that check, such as your IP address and technical details about your browser and device. Sometimes it may ask you to complete a quick check. We use it only to protect the forms from abuse, not for advertising or analytics.
This information is used to deliver the website, keep it working and secure, and fix problems. We also use Google Analytics to understand how the website is used (see Analytics and cookies). Apart from that, the website doesn’t use advertising or tracking tools – no advertising pixels, remarketing or session recording. If that changes, we’ll update this policy.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics, a website measurement service provided by Google, to understand how visitors use this website so we can improve its content and how well it works. Google Analytics is used only to measure the website; it isn’t part of how quote requests or partner messages are sent or delivered.
When you view a page, the Google Analytics code runs in your browser and sends information to Google, such as:
- the pages you view and how you interact with them;
- visit and usage statistics, such as how many pages you view and how long a visit lasts;
- how you arrived at the website, for example from a search engine or a link on another site;
- information about your browser and device, such as the browser type, operating system and screen size;
- your approximate location, such as your city or region.
Google Analytics uses first-party cookies – cookies set for this website’s own domain, such as _ga and related Google Analytics cookies – to tell visits and visitors apart, for example to recognize a returning browser.
Google processes your IP address when it collects this information, for example to provide and secure the service and to estimate your approximate location. Google Analytics doesn’t provide us with IP addresses in its reports; we see reports about how the website is used.
We don’t intentionally send names, email addresses, phone numbers, quote messages or anything else you enter in our forms to Google Analytics. Our forms send what you type directly to our server, not in the page address, and we haven’t added advertising, remarketing or user-ID features to the website’s Google Analytics code.
To learn how Google handles this information, see Google’s Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab). You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and Google offers a browser add-on (opens in a new tab) that stops Google Analytics from measuring your visits.
How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- answer your calls, emails, quote requests and questions;
- prepare quotes, and plan and schedule your move;
- follow up with you about a move or an inquiry you started;
- operate, maintain and secure the website, including preventing spam and abuse of its forms;
- understand how the website is used, so we can improve its content and performance;
- keep appropriate business records and meet our legal obligations.
Links to other websites
This website links to other sites, such as our Facebook page and our Google reviews. If you follow a link, you’re on a site we don’t control, and that site’s own privacy practices apply. Following a link doesn’t send it anything you’ve entered on our website.
The website doesn’t embed third-party maps, videos, review widgets or social-media plugins. Its fonts and images are served from our own website. The only third-party components are Google Analytics (see Analytics and cookies) and the Cloudflare Turnstile security check on pages with a form (see Information collected automatically).
How long information is kept
We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to requests, operate the website, maintain appropriate business records, and meet legal or security obligations. Technical records held by our hosting and security providers are kept according to those providers’ own settings, and Google Analytics data is kept according to the data-retention setting of our Google Analytics account.
A message sent through a referral-partner form is kept by that partner, under their own practices.
Security
This website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect information handled through the website, including limiting who can access it.
No method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security. Email in particular isn’t a secure way to send sensitive information.
Children’s privacy
The website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly seek personal information from children through the website.
Your choices and requests
You choose what to share with us, and you can browse the website without sharing anything.
To ask about personal information you’ve given us through this website – including asking us to update or correct it, remove it from our records, or tell you how it has been used – contact us using the details below. We may need to confirm who you are before acting on a request, and we may keep information we’re required to keep by law or need for legitimate business records, such as records of a completed move.
For a message you sent through a referral-partner form, please contact that partner directly, because the message went to them rather than to us.
Changes to this policy
We’ll update this policy when the way the website handles information changes – for example, if we add new forms, tools or services. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date at the top.
